Smart Rewards is the part of your Grateful app where you earn points for the things your employer wants to recognise, and spend them on things you'll use.

How it works
Your employer sets the ways to earn. That might be completing a training course, reaching two years' service or keeping a shift streak going. Each one is called an incentive, and they're all listed on the Earn tab.
Points are paid automatically. When you hit the mark, the points go into your balance. There's nothing to claim.
You choose when to spend them. Move points onto your Square gift card and use it at any of your employer's venues.
What's in the app
The tabs along the bottom of the screen, left to right:
Home (house icon) - your balance this month in pounds, the last six months, and where it came from
Earn (flame icon) - your points balance, your streak, every live incentive under Ways to Earn, and your history
Shop (bag icon) - gift cards from thousands of retailers, with cashback when you spend your own money
Your employer's tab (bank icon, with your employer's name) - where your Square gift card lives. Top it up with points and show the QR code at the till
More (⋮) - your documents, your profile and support
Points and cashback
Two things build up in the app, and they're kept separate:
Points - earned from incentives. You redeem them by moving them onto your Square gift card, then spending the card at your employer's venues
Cashback - earned when you spend your own money on gift cards in the Shop. Shown in pounds
Both show their value in pounds, and Home adds them together so you can see what you've earned on top of your pay.
Cashback on top
The Shop works with your own money. Buy a gift card for somewhere you'd shop anyway and a percentage comes back to you as cashback, in pounds. Redeeming points in the Shop isn't available yet.
