Promoting the Grateful App to Your Team

A ready-made comms toolkit for admins - poster, email blurb, and tips for getting your team onto the Grateful app.

For admin users

The Grateful app is now available on iPhone and Android, giving your team direct access to their tronc breakdown, earnings, STASH savings, payslips, and documents - all from their phone.

We've put together everything you need to spread the word and get your team downloading the app. Use as much or as little of this as you need.

Downloadable poster

We've created a ready-made poster you can print and display in staff areas, break rooms, or anywhere your team will see it. It includes QR codes that link directly to the App Store and Google Play, so your team can scan and download in seconds.

You can find the poster at the bottom of this page as a downloadable PDF.

Suggested places to display it:

  • Staff room or break area

  • Behind the bar or pass

  • Staff noticeboard

  • Back office door

  • Next to rotas or shift schedules

Share digitally

The poster also works well as a digital share. You can send it to your team via:

  • WhatsApp or team group chats - drop the poster image or the download links

  • Email - use the ready-made blurb below

  • Intranet or internal comms platform - upload the poster or link to this article

  • Slack, Teams, or similar - share in your team channel

Ready-made email or message blurb

Copy and paste this into an email, message, or wherever you communicate with your team:

Hi team,

The Grateful app is now available to download on your phone. It gives you a clear view of exactly what you've earned, how your tips are calculated, and access to your payslips and documents - all in one place.

To download, search your App Store for grateful.net or use these links:

Log in with the same email and password you use on the website. If you've forgotten your password, tap "Forgot password" on the login screen or reset it at https://account.grtfl.com/auth/reset-password.

Any questions, speak to your manager or visit support.grateful.net.

Mention it in team meetings or briefings

If you do regular team briefings or shift handovers, here are a few talking points:

  • "The Grateful app is now available" - it's free, on both iPhone and Android

  • "You can see exactly what you've earned" - every shift, every venue, broken down clearly

  • "Same login as the website" - no new account needed

  • "Search for grateful.net in your App Store" - or scan the QR code on the poster

  • "Your payslips and documents are in there too" - everything in one place
