User & Admin FAQ - New Grateful User Interface

Overview
We’ve launched a new and improved Grateful user interface for all users across the platform. This update delivers a faster, cleaner, and more intuitive experience while keeping everything you rely on today.

Admins are not moving to the new interface yet. We’ll communicate separately when the admin upgrade is ready.

This article explains what’s changing, what’s not, and what you and your teams need to know.

What’s changing?

We’ve upgraded the user experience for all users on Grateful.

You’ll see:

  • A faster and more responsive platform

  • A cleaner and more modern design

  • Simpler navigation

  • Clearer data and insights for everyday use

  • A smoother day-to-day experience for your teams


What’s staying the same?

No operational changes.

You still get:

  • The same Grateful platform

  • The same best-in-class tronc compliance

  • The same customisation, governance, and reporting power

  • The same rules, logic, and controls behind the scenes

This is a user experience upgrade, not a system change.


User FAQs

Do I need to do anything before the change?
No. The update is automatic. Just log in as normal.

Will my login details change?
No. Your email and password stay the same.

Is my data still safe?
Yes. All your existing data, history, and permissions remain exactly as they are.

Will things look different?
Yes. The layout and design are more modern and easier to use, but everything will feel familiar.


Admin FAQs

Are admin accounts moving to the new UI?
No. This update is for users only. Admin accounts will remain on the current interface for now.

When will admins move to the new interface?
We’ll communicate separately when the admin migration is ready.

Do I need to update any settings or permissions?
No. Everything stays exactly as it is.

Will this affect payroll, tronc rules, or reporting?
No. There are no changes to compliance, calculations, governance, or reporting.
